I was conflicted about the rate I was charging for my services. I was afraid that if I asked too much, I would lose the deal and future bookings with this client. On the other hand, I was worried that I may not ask for what I feel my services are worth. She was able to coach me throughout the process and made me realize my worth and teach me how to negotiate with the client so that we both get our needs met. I ended up with a very happy client and getting more than I initially thought I could ask for. I also learned how to be more prepared for my next business negotiation and look at things from a more positive perspective. Most of all, I learned how to take action, and not procrastinate something that I feared.
